Description

This mix gathers tracks with a smoky feel within the Jazzy House genre. While creating a smoky Jazzy House playlist, older tracks like Laurent Garnier’s The Man With the Red Face started popping into my head, and I just had to include them. I experimented with various mix timing to smoothly blend tracks while highlighting the jazz drums and saxophone solos. This resulted in the current mix, but I wonder how other DJs would approach mixing these tracks.
